How to create a DogStar
We're sorry for your loss and hope the DogStars are a comfort to you.
IMPORTANT: In order to create your DogStar (or post to the forums), we ask that you register. Just your name and email, which we will never use for any purpose except to get in touch with you. If you don't have a username and password yet, please register by clicking here now. (You will be presented with our privacy policy and short user agreement prior to registering. This is all standard legal stuff, the fine print. We've tried to keep it to a minimum.)
DogStar options:
Text-Only DogStars are always free (but cannot be edited). They include a twinkling star in the night sky. You may upgrade your free memorial to a premium memorial at any time. Just email for details (my email is in the bottom right corner of every page).
Premium DogStar Memorials are available for a one-time fee of $25. They include music (our custom written/recorded Gone to DogStar™ songs), photos (you upload) and of course, your personal tribute to your friend. You may edit your posting at any time and if you have any questions, we are always happy to help (my email addess is at the bottom right of every page).
Your Premium DogStar begins as a text-only listing (free memorial). If you choose the "premium" option during the next step, once your text-only DogStar has been created and posted, you will be taken to a page with a payment button. Once payment is received, we will activate your premium features and send you an email telling you your DogStar page is ready to edit.
At this time, online payment is available via PayPal only (we can also accept checks/money orders, please email address at bottom right). Refunds are available, no questions asked, for 7 full days after payment is received.
Gift Certificates are available for Premium DogStars ($25). You may either create the DogStar yourself or simply pay for the star on behalf of the recipient and we will notify them of your generous gift. Give the Gift of DogStar -- and it will never be forgotten. You are giving more than just a star - you are giving them the tools they need to begin to heal. And to always be able to remember their friend.
We encourage you to browse the other DogStars -- so many find comfort in realizing that they are not alone in their grief. There are others here who think like you do, and understand what you are going through.
