Jollie was born Tapmar Jolly in January of 1999. She was a racing greyhound for several years, until she suffered a broken leg during a race and was retired.
We adopted this wonderful dog in July of 2003. She was an absolute joy to have as a companion, and she opened our eyes and our hearts to the special love that our canine friends bring into our lives. She loved to run, but mostly she loved to sleep on the couch, curled up with her people. Carrots and apples were special treats that she loved. Our cats never quite warmed up to her, but she would still try to get them to play. Everyone who met her just loved her, and she loved them right back.
Jollie died in October of 2004. She was running around in our backyard when she suddenly collapsed. Death was instant.
Thank you, Jollie, for coming into our lives and bringing us so much joy. You were a damn good dog.
