In Loving memory of "CINDY" Cynthia Phelps Cooper
1989 - November 17, 2004
We love you CINDY.
I remember going to pick you up when I was 8 years old. Dad was at hunting camp and mom and I were going to surprise him with a new hunting buddy! Mom Grandma and I road 2 hours to find you and I got to pick you out of all your brothers and sisters. I chose you because you were the most playful.
Over the last 15 years you never lost that charm. You were my dads best hunting buddy and always loved to keep us company weather it was fishing, hunting, hiking, or just sitting around the campfires late at night by the lake side. You really were a comfort. I even remember sneaking you into my bed at night and you pushing me off by morning.
After I got married and moved away I still missed you. Especially "you" taking me for those walks down to the lake and back, or going after the frogs in the summer. I am never going to forget those times. I am really going to miss the boat rides and you and I playing fetch with the sticks on the beach.
I just want you to know that we love you, and that from the moment you left us you were already missed. I promise that someday we will be able to do that again. Until then Keep grandma safe.
Your old hunting buddy's.
