While Fergie (Fergusson) was not my dog in ownership, he was certainly my adopted one....or shold I say, he adopted me...
He lived in Indiana withmy brother, and was suddenly taken from all of us in an untimely accident, and we all miss him terribly
I think Westies have SUCH personality, they exude some very human qualities ...
I'll include my favorite memory of Fergie below, as my tribute to him.
Ferguson simply loved to play hide and seek with me; it's the craziest thing..First I'd chase him, he'd hide, and the when I'd find him, he would run like a madman to another hiding place...then, in order to "throw him off", I'd not go searching, but hide behind a wall at the entrance to another room...Soon enough, he comes looking for me, and as he comes around the corner, I'd jump out at him, and he'd tear off like the revenants from hell are behind him...lolol...This would go on until I.m pooped or until I get yelled at because of the hoopla, noise, and the rugs get all askew....It makes me laugh hard even thinking about it now...What a great pleasure animals such as
Thank you Fergie, for giving me such joy and pleasure over the years. Though I miss you every day, may you rest, romp, and play in the stars until that day when I cross the bridge as well to play "hide-and-seek" once more.
