Donner. Oct 94 to 4 Nov 2006. Beloved companion.

Tears are flowing as I write this. You were just a scared little bag of bones when we found you cowering at the back of the kennel, and the TLC we gave you came back tenfold. More than a pet, you became very much a part of me, and when I found out how sick you were I was heartbroken, and I loved you that much more. You held on much longer than anyone ever expected. Forgive me for not being there when you breathed your last in the yard and not in my loving hands.

My loyal buddy to the very end. Goodbye old soldier. Goodbye baby.
