Casey died in December of this year right before Christmas. She died of cancer. It was very sad for myself and my family, but we got through. Two days after her death we bought a new dog. If it wasn't for Kayla I don't think that I could have made it through. It took a lot of time for me to accept Kayla as my new dog, but she really is my savior. If it wasn't for her I probably wouldn't be here today to present this memorial to my deceased dog whom I loved with all my heart.

Casey was the type of dog that you just would have thought was immortal. Right up until she got sick, she was full of life and hope. She had that puppy light to her that stuck right with her all through life. If it wasn't for her I couldn't have learned how to trust and love to the extent that I have. She was the type of dog that just brought my family together. Her death was very peaceful.

I know that she is in heaven now and I would like to just let her know that I love her and hope that she is alright. I hope that she is up there with my grandmother and my other deceased pets, whom I also loved very much, taking care of each other. I miss her very much and hope that when I die she will be waiting for me at the door once again to greet me. I love you Casey!

Julie- Casey's faithful owner.
