Matilda (Tilly the pooch)

She has been my husband's dog for 14 years, mine for the eight we have been married. Four years ago I started my own business and she was literally with me everyday. I work from a home office, so she was like my personal assistant. We had lunch together, almost every day. She'd keep my toes warm by laying under my desk and she'd faithfully listen to me as I'd complain about clients. At night she would wait until I was in bed before she'd leave to go an sleep in the kids' rooms.

She was always here for me. I even remember one time when I was so distraught about a family situation and the subsequent spiritual growth from that situation. She was with me every step of the way. When it finally hit me, I cried and cried and she just hugged me and hugged me.

Tilly my beautiful, sweet, ever-faithful and loving Springer Spaniel (liver and white) I shall always be in your debt for a friendship so true. I love you and I miss you so much. I am glad you are no longer suffering and I am happy that you are running and playing in that special place we go when physical life no longer feels good.

Take care Tilly and see you next time...

I Love you,

Katreena :)

P.S. Did you see the neat Springer wind chime I put on the patio?
