I bought Shelbie after I had been divorced for several years, looking for companionship. What I found was a companion, best friend, and protector. It is amazing the unconditional love she gave to me. She died suddenly, last September, at age six. I had not even considered losing her that soon. She was always by my side, and I still catch myself looking for her. She is greatly missed.
