Heidi

Heidi is our mini-dachsund that passed away on June 7, 1999. We had her euthanized, due to a rapidly growing carcinoma in her brain that took her sight, and started causing seizures, all within a matter of weeks. She was 9 years old, and our constant companion. She was a cherished member of our family of five, and will especially be missed by our daughter, who received her as a birthday gift when she was 6.

Our home and hearts feel very empty without her, and we want her to know she will never be forgotten. I would like to think I could look heavenward, and see a star that might be her, and that she would be looking downward upon us, faithfully waiting for our eventual reunion. We love you Heidi!
