Second Chance

Second Chance, "Chancey" (pictured right) had the most exquisite head of any female Lab, and a sweetness to go with it. Tragically she was born with major problems that were not fully and immediately apparent--2 ectopic ureters. These requires much testing and 2 operations with many follow up tests and problems. And she was put on ephedrine for 6yrs. This had the long term effect of causing congestive heart failure, and she died suddenly after gamely trying to play ball the evening before.

She surely loved Maine and "Aggie"--no better friends can be found.
