A few words in Memory.
The almost 10 1/2 years Thunder was with us, she was the most faithful companion and friend a person could ever have. She always gave more than she received and was always there for you. She never let anyone down. She was the very best and could never be replaced in our hearts or in any other way. She was excelled in her loyalty and faithfulness, which knew no bounds. The last two months of her life after her operation for cancer were full of love and joy, and were painless. She was still her old self and still wanted to play her favorite game - "Football". She was a better wide receiver than humans were, and while running would look over her shoulder waiting for the ball to be thrown. Her last two days she would lay her head in my lap and still wag her tail. On her last day before she passed away, I heard her say to me it was time for her to go, and as she looked at me I could still see the love and then the peace in her eyes as she slipped away. Part of me went with her that day. We all know she is cancer free now, running and playing with her Buddy, "Tuffy", As they wait for us at the Rainbow Bridge to join them. We all miss her so very much!
